We are seeking a highly accomplished full stack software engineer to join our team as a Technical Advisor. This role will be crucial in advising and collaborating with our Director of Technology and CTO, auditing our tech stack, and evaluating the integration of third-party tools to enhance our platform.

What You’ll Do
Partner with the Director of Technology and CTO to shape Viva’s technology roadmap and strategy, contributing hands-on to its execution.
Audit and enhance our tech stack by writing, refactoring, and optimizing code to boost performance and scalability.
Build and integrate third-party tools (e.g., CRM, data visualization) by developing custom APIs, connectors, or middleware for seamless functionality.
Actively code and implement technical solutions, providing best practices through code reviews, documentation, and architectural design.
Research and prototype emerging technologies, building proof-of-concept solutions to drive Viva’s innovation.
Lead the PDLC.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
7+ years of expertise in C# and ASP.NET Core, with a track record of building scalable, production-grade web applications or APIs, leveraging best practices and patterns such as vertical slicing and clean architecture.
7+ years of expertise in React, delivering dynamic, user-focused front-end solutions for complex projects.
Proven experience as a senior full stack software engineer, leading successful technical initiatives.
Deep expertise in auditing and optimizing full stack architectures, particularly with C#, Javascript and React.
Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills to drive impactful recommendations.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to partner effectively with leadership.
Nice-to-Haves:
5+ years of experience with Node.js, contributing to backend or full-stack development.
Experience with Twilio or other API integrations.
Experience with DynamoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
Experience with distributed systems, messaging, queues, and tools like RabbitMQ or MassTransit.
Familiarity with startup environments or affordable housing initiatives.
Experience building with AI tools

Housing Partner Platform: A React web-based dashboard desktop app enabling property owners to manage residents and their benefits, enhancing operational efficiency.
Time Commitment
10 hours/week minimum for hands-on collaboration.
